"I don't know. I just feel it in my soul, you know?"
"Soul? I've never heard of that organ."
Dib laughed under his breath and rolled from his back to face the creature next to him. Zim looked weirdly sexy wrapped in his bed sheets, entirely out of place, but somehow right where Dib wanted him to be. He supposed it was all the softness; the pillows, the blankets, the inquisitive expression on his strange face, the exact opposite of everything the boy knew about his extraterrestrial.
"Your soul isn't an organ, goof. It's.."
He'd just been expounding on why the paranormal sciences were integral to the evolution of the human race, it was hard

Invader Zim Hi-Skool (Chapter: 22)
Finally at the house, GIR zoomed inside, a startled Zim following close behind.
Once they reached the elevator, Zim and GIR climbed in, practically squished. As they rode down Zim began to grow curious, "Why is Gaz in the lab?"
GIR cuddled Zim's leg, "It a surprise."
Zim rolled his eyes, but refrained from asking more. He decided to take out his contacts, glad to have his eyes freed from their cages.
He stuffed them into the storage part of his PAK, then slipped off his wig, also stuffing it into his PAK.
His lekku bobbed a bit, now being used to being under his wig, like they had been for weeks.
Finally the elevator stopped and they both ste

Yin woke up outside her base. She blinked open her eyes, wondering where she was, then jumped when GIR's head appeared in her line of vision. She stared at him for a moment, then pushed him off gently before sitting up. He fell back onto the couch and turned back to the TV, making soft noises. She watched it for a moment, wondering what the point of the show was, then got up. She glanced around at Zim's main house level. She'd only been in here... what, once before? It seemed strange to be here again. And then she went on to thinking about why she was here. She glanced at her arms and pulled up her sleeves, seeing some fading burns. Sighing,

Dib lay on his bed, staring at the ceiling, thinking of two things. Yin and what she had said. First he started wondering what she meant and why she knew so much about Zim. She hadn't mentioned being a part of his past, so how did she know of all the things he'd done? And what did she mean by 'destructive at times'? And who'd tried to get rid of him? And why was being small such a bad thing? Death is a huge thing to wish upon someone, especially someone of your own kind. And just for being small and annoying? He couldn't make sense of it all.
And then he moved onto simply thinking about Yin. How beautiful she was, despite being an alien. She

Saturday - what a perfect day to spy on Zim.
Dib glanced at his clock before running downstairs, past Gaz, and out the door. He raced towards Zim's cul de sac, then slowed as he remembered he wasn't dealing with just one alien anymore. Now he had Yin to spy on too. Maybe it'd be easier to breach her security...
He turned slightly so he was stealth-walking towards the female Irken's base. He crept through the gnomes, which were much like Zim's, finding blind spots everywhere. Obviously the alien hadn't looked into defence much yet. He spotted an open window and went in through that, then clung to the pipes on the ceiling and took out his camer

Invader Yin sat in class, only half listening, completely and utterly bored. The teacher was, once again, going on about doom of some sort. She was so depressing. Yeah, yeah, the Universe is doomed. Shut up, will ya? Plus, the Irken empire would take over long before that happened, so what should she care? Ms. Bitters was just going on about something that, if it happened, would happen, like, millions of years from now. The stupid teacher would be dead by then, so it shouldn't matter to her.
She glanced at Zim and mouthed 'I hate school'. He nodded, mouthing back, 'Me too'. She sighed and glanced to her other side, past some kid that was payi

Yin lay on her back in the main room. She was on the couch, her SIR curled up at her feet like a real cat. The Irken sorted through her emotions carefully, wondering what was real and what wasn't, what she cared about and what she didn't, what she needed and what was a waste of time. Unfortunately, with things like emotions, you can't simply throw the unwanted ones away. Priorities change and you find yourself wanting something different each time you think about it. Just two days ago, she'd wanted to get off this stinking dirt-ball. Now... she didn't feel the urge so strongly. Now she longed for something odd. She still didn't understand it.
